Learning Walks & Talks

‚ÄčWhat is a Learning Walk and Talk?

A Learning Walk and Talk is a 3-5 minutes visit to the classroom to speak with our learners. These visits do not interrupt the teaching and learning that is occurring and aims to build a common language across the school. Visitors might talk to a small group or individual student and ask them our 5 key questions about their learning.
  • What are you learning?
  • How are you going with that learning?
  • How do you know?
  • How can you improve?
  • What do you do when you need help?

Last year, we spoke about our 5 key questions as always we encourage parents to ask these questions to their own children to assist us in building a common language and to show interest in what their child/ren is learning.
